Let me guess...

You’re not panicking, exactly.

It’s more like a low hum in the background of every meeting, every performance review, every LinkedIn post you scroll past at 11pm.

You’re good at what you do. You’ve earned the expertise, put in the time, and figured out more than most people around you probably ever will.

And then AI shows up… and suddenly a coworker who’s been there six months knows more than you do and moves twice as fast doing it.

So now you’re learning new tools, doing the mandatory trainings, trying to stay ahead of a thing that keeps moving.

But none of it is actually answering the question that’s keeping you up.

Am I still going to matter on the other side of this?

You can handle learning new things. What you can’t handle is the part nobody’s talking about.

Leadership still hasn’t said what they’re going to value more because of AI. You’ve been doing the right things for a long time… and somehow it still doesn’t feel like enough.

And you’re not sure if the problem is you, or the fact that nobody handed you a new rubric.

What am I actually being graded on now?

Something’s shifting and your gut can feel it. The office is picking up on it too.

But nobody is saying what it actually means for your next move, your next review, your next role.

What do I do now?

That’s the question that puts you in the hot seat to shape what happens next.

You don’t need another “think outside the box” pep talk. Or an inspirational quote about how hard work always pays off.

And definitely not someone who learned everything they know about corporate from a book.

You need someone who’s been in the room. Who knows more than your HR rep and probably more than your manager about how matrix organizations actually work… especially now that AI is rewriting the scoreboard.

Someone who knows what gets said in the leadership meeting before it reaches you.

That’s where I come in.

Not to give you a prettier version of advice that’s already everywhere.

And absolutely not to pretend any of this is simpler than it is.

I’m here to help you read what’s actually shifting… so you can stop bracing for it and start becoming what it’s asking for.

That’s why I built The Corporate Undoing.

I’m not here because I have all the answers or because I’ve arrived somewhere you haven’t in the future…

I’m here because I’ve spent two decades learning how to read what’s actually happening, and this moment is too important not to do that out loud.

— but probably not the unofficial version I keep for close friends

So let me bring you in…

here’s the BTS version of my story

I started in corporate after six years in the advertising agency world… working on brands like Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, and Ford Racing.

Then I walked into a 50,000+ employee organization and realized I had no idea how corporate actually worked.

It was a whirlwind of acronyms, a zillion colleagues in almost every time zone, bureaucracy that was hard to understand, and managers who had no idea how to develop the people under them.

And me… a single mom of a toddler at the time, trying to learn the unwritten rules nobody was teaching while also just trying to survive it.

Then came the layoff. I had done everything my manager told me to do, and yet, it didn’t matter.

That was the moment I stopped waiting for someone to hand me the real rules…

Fifteeen years ago, I went looking for them myself.

FAST FORWARD TO NOW…

I negotiated a $50,000 sign-on bonus

I tripled my corporate 6-figure compensation

I’ve been offered premium relocation packages to two states (Florida to Michigan, and Michigan to Oregon)

I received an MBA that I paid $0 for thanks to an employer

I earned my second Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and my employer paid $$$ to support my future

I earned a 4.0 & 3.9 gpa in two Master’s programs while working full-time

I consistently received strong, positive feedback in performance reviews

I have built a reputation that has execs proactively offering to be my mentor

HOW I DID IT (& YOU CAN TOO)

This came from earning a seat at every level of the table… as an individual contributor, the manager, a director, and a CCO’s Chief of Staff…sitting next to executives while also being the one making the tough calls that affected everyone below them.

$

Learned to think like a leader before anyone gave me the title or the budget to prove it

$

Read the room while it was being rewritten — every reorg, every leadership change, every shift in what was getting rewarded

$

Figured out my positioning… what made me the obvious person for the room, the role, the conversation

$

Got on the radar of decision-makers without playing politics or losing myself doing it

$

Built relationships with the people who had real influence, not just the ones with the biggest titles

$

Understood how to make my work land with leadership… not just deliver it and hope they noticed

$

Developed the kind of executive presence that got me pulled into rooms most people only heard about secondhand

$

Navigated matrix organizations without a map… and eventually became someone others came to when they needed one

If you’ve read this far, you know what to do next.

One read. Every Friday. The inside view on what’s actually shifting.

The Friday Briefing is where I put everything together for you… what’s changing at work, how leadership is actually thinking about it, and what that means for how you move now. Not a recap of AI headlines. Not generic career advice. The stuff your manager doesn’t know how to tell you and your HR rep doesn’t know exists.

One smart read every Friday. That’s it.

Pros at Meta, Nvidia, Netflix, Nike, and more are already in.

Come for the real talk on how work is changing + strategies that matter as AI reshapes it, plus the unfiltered BTS of becoming what comes next, wrangling drop-offs and diapers, and living for the next AI rabbit hole (or Love Story binge).
